Mission IT Operator (TS/SCI)

About the role

CACI is hiring a Mission IT Operator in Denver to support a 24x7 government mission. The operator provides direct support for detecting, isolating and resolving ground-segment problems and acts as first responder for all site issues, covering Windows and Linux systems in a global environment. The position is regular, full time, with no travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve IT infrastructure issues (servers, network, security, storage, user systems) and maintain hardware and software function.
• Provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and maintain security for users.
• Support new infrastructure projects and keep configuration documentation up to date.
• Manage incidents, prioritizing and escalating complex or critical issues to Tier 2 or the mission director.
• Handle first-level support in a 24x7 service center, answering calls, emails and walk-ups, and create and manage support tickets in an ITSM/CRM platform.
• Maintain privileged access, monitor and correlate system and network problems, and restart services and hardware as needed.
• Record problems in reporting tools, support after-action activities, and coordinate with other 24x7 ground segments and enterprise resources.

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• DODI 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification and Security+ certification.
• Ability to work a non-standard week, weekends and holidays, including 12-hour shifts (4 on, 4 off).
• Excellent communication skills across a multi-location enterprise.

Required skills

• System administration experience with UNIX, Linux and Windows platforms.
• Preferred: virtualization (e.g., VMware) and enterprise management systems such as HP OpenView and CA Concord.
