Mid Target Intelligence Analyst

About the role

Amentum supports the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) J2 Directorate through analysis of all-source intelligence on the Iraq Team. The analyst's fused analysis and assessment support the decision-making of senior leaders, including the CENTCOM Commander, and indirectly affects the battlefield and strategic decisions across the Intelligence Community. The schedule varies but is typically Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct all-source intelligence analysis and produce intelligence products supporting global missions and customers.
• Apply ODNI analytic tradecraft standards, research using databases and toolsets, compile and analyze complex data, and develop assessments.
• Support the Joint Intelligence Center, which may require 24/7 shift work for situational awareness and warning.
• Analyze the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility and Areas of Interest, and provide recommendations to help the government produce, disseminate and apply intelligence products.
• Cover subjects such as current and term analysis, daily production, graphics, write-for-release, political/military, terrorism, cyberspace, human terrain, geospatial intelligence, WMD, energy/environment, ballistic missiles, compromise mitigation, open-source, order of battle, target intelligence, target materials, and target discovery and network/systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree with 4-6 years of intelligence analysis experience, or specialized training with 4-8 years of experience and recent equivalent intelligence or academic experience.
• Security clearance: TS/SCI with CIP.
• Ability to perform all-source analysis of USCENTCOM AOR and AOIs.
