Mid Shift Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Mid Shift Warehouse Supervisor leads a team responsible for loading cases of wine and spirits onto delivery trucks, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring safe, efficient warehouse operations during the mid‑day shift. This full‑time, onsite position reports to Market Operations management and plays a key role in meeting dispatch schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the truck‑loading process, picking orders from case lines and the bottle room while minimizing product breakage.
• Oversee unloading of inbound trucks, verify receipts, and ensure accurate system entry and proper storage placement.
• Report equipment damage, product shortages, and facility issues; enforce preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain organized storage areas, recommend layout improvements, and enforce OSHA and local safety regulations.
• Supervise associates: hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, performance appraisal, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, material‑handling, and shipping requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising warehouse or distribution teams.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety protocols.
• Ability to manage inventory, track shipments, and resolve discrepancies.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and coordinating with management.
