Mid DevOps Engineer

About the role

Tech9 is looking for a Mid DevOps Engineer to help migrate and optimise Kubernetes workloads in a fast‑moving, AI‑focused environment. You will work remotely with cross‑functional teams to ensure cloud infrastructure is scalable, secure and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in end‑to‑end migration of workloads from Amazon EKS to Kubernetes.
• Optimise production‑grade Kubernetes clusters for scalability, security and operational best practices.
• Integrate Kubernetes with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM and CloudFormation.
• Design, implement and improve CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes‑based deployments.
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana or equivalent tools.
• Collaborate with development, operations and security teams to align infrastructure goals.
• Create documentation and deliver training to internal teams on the new Kubernetes platform.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering or a related role.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes (certifications such as CKAD/CKA are a plus).
• Deep knowledge of AWS services and cloud‑native best practices.
• Proven ability to lead complex migrations or infrastructure projects.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making and stakeholder communication skills.
