Metrology Technician

About the role

BETA Technologies is seeking a Metrology Technician to perform inspections and investigations that ensure dimensional conformity with engineering data in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Quality Control inspections and testing according to Metrology programs and work instructions.
• Develop Metrology programs for advanced inspection equipment and create custom reports.
• Inspect, report on, and maintain manufacturing tooling and work‑holding jigs.
• Follow Non‑Conformance procedures to prevent dimensional defects.
• Perform First Article Inspections per AS9102 and document results in the ERP system.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience with GD&T and precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gage blocks.
• Proficiency in computer applications like Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
