Metal Plater / Line Operator – 2nd Shift

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Metal Plater / Line Operator for our 2nd shift (Monday‑Thursday, 3 PM‑1 AM) at Nico Products in Minneapolis. You will operate and monitor electro‑plating lines that apply protective and functional coatings to parts used in medical devices, aerospace, defense and industrial equipment. The role includes on‑the‑job training and offers a pathway to a skilled trade career.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, run and shut down plating lines according to detailed work instructions.
• Monitor process parameters, chemical levels and equipment performance.
• Inspect finished parts for quality, coating thickness and defects.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety and chemical handling procedures.
• Document production data and report any deviations to supervisors.

Required profile

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with heat, humidity, dust, noise and chemicals.
• Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to learn through hands‑on and classroom training.
• Availability for an in‑person interview in Minnesota and, if needed, relocation.
