Metal Plater / Line Operator – 1st Shift

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Metal Plater / Line Operator for our first‑shift production line in Minneapolis. You will join Nico Products’ electro‑plating department, learning a skilled trade while supporting the manufacture of critical components for medical, aerospace, defense and industrial markets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plating production lines to apply protective and functional metal coatings.
• Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures for each part.
• Maintain strict quality, safety and production standards throughout the shift.
• Document production data and report any equipment or process issues.
• Assist with routine line maintenance and cleaning.

Required profile

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with heat, humidity, dust, noise and chemicals.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work the 5 am‑3 pm schedule, Monday‑Thursday.
• Willingness to learn through hands‑on training and online coursework.
• Ability to follow written instructions and pay attention to detail.
