MESF Curriculum Subject Matter Expert – Patrol Boat Operations

About the role

Telum Protection Corporation is seeking a seasoned Maritime Expeditionary Security Force (MESF) curriculum subject‑matter expert to join the MESG ONE N7 team. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and delivering NETC‑compliant training for patrol boat operations and related expeditionary security tactics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and maintain MESG ONE Courses of Instruction (COIs), unit‑level training, and supporting materials, emphasizing Patrol Boat Operations, Embarked Security Combat Skills, Expeditionary Security, Close Quarters Tactics, and Tactical Operations Center curricula.
• Analyze MESF directives, Navy Tactical Reference Publications, service warfighting publications, and joint doctrine to inform curriculum content.
• Ensure all COIs align with NETC guidance (NAVEDTRA M‑142), OPNAVINST 1500.75, NECCINST 1500.13, MESF qualification standards, and Navy Tactical Tasks.
• Author and plan instructional material in coordination with the Course Curriculum Model Manager (CCMM).

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with an active DoD SECRET clearance.
• Minimum 8 years of operational, training, and readiness experience with a warfare qualification (expeditionary preferred).
• At least 5 years of Navy expeditionary operational, training, and readiness experience.
• 3 years recent NETC content planning and instructional authoring experience.
• 3 years recent MESF experience as a uniformed service member or government contractor.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI tools for curriculum development.
• Experience using the NETC training platform.
