Merchandiser / Stocker - Hub Store

About the role

O'Reilly Auto Parts is hiring a merchandiser/stocker for its Hub store in Winston-Salem, NC. The role keeps the front floor stocked, full and clean, handles sales preparation and customer greeting, and may also act as stock puller for the installer area in large installer-volume stores.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor, help them find merchandise and direct them to a parts specialist when hard parts are needed.
• Check in, price and put up stock, keeping the display floor full and clean every day.
• Make display changes, price changes and sale-sign changes according to company guidelines and planograms, and remove sale material when sales end.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts and overstock returns, and help complete the store To Do List and weekly team tasks.
• Act as the main front-floor security measure against shoplifting and clock in/out per company policy.
• Work with the manager and ISS to pull and stage installer deliveries, coordinate delivery routes and quarterly vehicle inspections, and handle back-room housekeeping.
• Pull parts from pick tickets and stock transfer tickets, sort them by store location and inspect boxes before delivery.

Required profile

• Good aptitude for number sequences and good organizational skills.
• Previous stocking experience and ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle are desired.
• Fluency in multiple languages is encouraged; Spanish is highly desired.
