Merchandiser / Stocker - Hub Store

About the role

O'Reilly Auto Parts is hiring a merchandiser/stocker for its Hub store in Fairfield, Ohio. The role keeps the front floor stocked, full and clean, and may also act as a stock puller for the installer area in large installer-volume stores.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor and help them find merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist.
• Check in, price and put up stock, keeping the display floor full and clean daily.
• Make display changes, price changes and sale-sign changes according to company guidelines and planograms.
• Manage sale materials, flyers and sale merchandise, and remove sale material when the sale ends.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts and overstock returns.
• Work with the manager on the store To Do List and weekly team tasks, and act as the main front-floor security measure against shoplifting.
• Help with O'Reilly Image Maker duties, clock in and out per company policy, and coordinate quarterly vehicle inspections and maintenance with the delivery specialist.
• Pull and stage installer deliveries, and act as communication link between ISS, delivery specialists and the store manager.
• As HUB Store Order Puller: receive orders from area stores, pull parts from pick tickets, sort them by store location into delivery tubs, inspect damaged boxes and keep a clean, safe work area.
• Handle housekeeping in the back room and installer counter areas.

Required profile

• Good aptitude for number sequences and good organizational skills.
• Previous stocking experience and ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle are desired.
• Fluency in multiple languages is desired; Spanish is highly desired.
