Mental Health Therapist - Telehealth (LISW-CP, LMFT, LPC)

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates, which partners with Lyra Health, is hiring a Mental Health Therapist to deliver short-term, evidence-based treatment through its video therapy program, Lyra Care Therapy. Sessions are held live by video, with digital lessons, videos and assessments assigned between sessions so clients can continue learning and progress. The role is full-time, about 40 hours per week, and is open to clinicians with unrestricted licenses in South Carolina (LISW-CP, LMFT, LPC).

Key responsibilities

• Provide short-term, evidence-based treatment via live video, maintaining a caseload of diverse clinical needs.
• Assign digital lessons, videos and assessments to clients and monitor outcomes between sessions.
• Deliver culturally responsive care that takes account of each client's background and needs.
• Take part in one-on-one and peer group clinical consultation meetings and peer-based quality assurance reviews.
• Attend training and use expert consultation for complex cases.

Required profile

• Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD or equivalent license in South Carolina, with no current, past or pending disciplinary action.
• Master's degree from a clinical track (e.g. MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC).
• Experience with evidence-based treatments such as ACT, CBT, CPT and DBT, and clinical best practices such as measurement-based care.
• Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises.
• Experience maintaining a full caseload of adult and/or adolescent clients (about 30 bookable spots per week).
• Ability to work full-time, around 40 hours per week, and authorization to work in the U.S.

Required skills

• Literacy with computer and live video tools (Zoom, Google Meet, DoxyMe, Skype, etc.).
• Experience providing telehealth therapy is preferred but not required.
