Mental Health Therapist - Full-Time Telehealth

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates employs therapists for its Lyra Care Therapy program, which blends live video sessions with between-session digital psychoeducation and customizable skill-building tools. The therapist provides short-term, evidence-based treatment via live video, maintains a caseload of diverse clinical needs and delivers culturally responsive care. The role is full-time, about 40 hours per week, and allows clinicians to work from home or their preferred setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide short-term, evidence-based treatment via live video, covering a caseload of diverse clinical needs
• Assign digital lessons, videos and assessments to clients to enhance learning and monitor outcomes between sessions
• Deliver culturally responsive care that accounts for the impact of cultural backgrounds on each client's experience
• Take part in one-on-one and peer-group clinical consultation meetings and peer-based quality assurance reviews
• Attend training to strengthen clinical skills and use expert consultation for complex cases

Required profile

• Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD or equivalent license, able to work independently without supervision, with no current, past or pending disciplinary action
• Master's degree from a clinical track (e.g. MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC)
• Experience with evidence-based treatments such as ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT and clinical best practices such as measurement-based care
• Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises
• Experience maintaining a full caseload of adult and/or adolescent clients (about 30 bookable spots per week)
• Ability to work full-time, around 40 hours per week, and authorization to work in the United States

Required skills

• Literacy with computer and live video tools (Zoom, Google Meet, DoxyMe, Skype, etc.)
• Experience providing telehealth therapy is preferred but not required
