Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates partners with Lyra Health, a provider of evidence-based mental health care, to build a network of in-person and virtual therapists, physicians and coaches across the US. As a 1099 contractor, you will be contracted by Lyra Clinical Associates to provide culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy for children, adults, couples and/or families. The role suits clinicians who want well-matched clients, administrative and marketing support, and easy invoicing with quick payments.

Required profile

• Master's or doctoral degree from a clinical track (e.g. MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, PsyD)
• Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD or equivalent license, able to work independently without supervision, with no current, past or pending disciplinary action
• Experience providing evidence-based treatments (e.g. ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT) and clinical best practices such as measurement-based care and skills practice
• Ability to care for children, adults, couples and/or families, with a strong preference for in-person care
• Own office space where clients can be seen in person
• Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises as needed
• Full-time resident of the United States
