Medical Receptionist

About the role
Curely is seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients. You will ensure smooth check‑in experiences, manage appointment scheduling, and support the clinical team with essential administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments efficiently.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries.
- Maintain up‑to‑date patient records and verify insurance details.
- Process billing transactions and coordinate with doctors, nurses, and staff for seamless care.
- Uphold confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with additional front‑desk and clerical duties as needed.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
- 1‑2 years of receptionist or administrative experience, preferably in a medical setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Patient‑focused attitude with excellent customer service.
Required skills
- Proficiency with scheduling software.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
