Medical Education Manager (Peripheral)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Medical Education Manager (Peripheral) for its Shockwave Medical portfolio. This fully remote position will lead global medical education and physician relations activities, focusing on intravascular lithotripsy therapies for complex calcified cardiovascular disease.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan and execute HCP education programs, including CME and non‑CME content.
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders across interventional cardiology, vascular surgery, radiology and related specialties.
• Manage event execution, speaker contracting, compliance standards, curriculum approval and program documentation.
• Oversee symposia (virtual or in‑conference), design agendas, develop content and coach physician speakers.
• Support the speaker‑bureau process, maintain slide decks and ensure compliance approvals.
• Collaborate with meeting planners, medical societies and fellowship programs to coordinate logistics and educational solutions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of therapies, scientific literature and product developments.
• Develop annual budgets and contribute to needs‑assessment and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (advanced degree preferred) with 6+ years experience in education, training, sales or marketing within the med‑tech space, preferably cardiovascular.
• Highly organized with strong project‑management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent critical‑thinking, influencing, negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and independently, making decisions and taking responsibility.
• Effective written, verbal and presentation skills at all organizational levels.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with CVENT platform.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.
