Medical Assistant – Vietnamese Speaking

About the role

The Medical Assistant will support Welby Health’s remote physiological monitoring program, helping patients manage chronic conditions through technology‑enabled care, education, and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and review patient vitals and assessments within Welby Health’s platform.
• Support care managers in executing and maintaining individualized care plans.
• Document patient interactions accurately according to internal protocols and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with providers and internal teams to facilitate follow‑up tasks and operational needs.
• Serve as a liaison between patients and providers, delivering education and guidance via telephone and secure messaging.

Required profile

• Active and valid Medical Assistant certification in good standing.
• 2–5 years of direct patient care experience in medical‑surgical or home care settings.
• Verbal and written proficiency in Vietnamese.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Experience with remote physiological monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) or electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Use of patient engagement platforms and secure messaging.
