Medical Assistant – PRN (Allergy & Immunology)

About the role

We are seeking a PRN Medical Assistant to join our Allergy & Immunology clinic in Orem. The role involves providing courteous, professional support to patients and providers while ensuring accurate documentation and smooth clinic operations.

Key responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vitals, and prepare them for examinations.
• Gather and present pertinent information to providers, including medication lists, lab results, allergies, imaging reports, and health history.
• Assist with examinations, invasive and minor surgical procedures, ensuring rooms are equipped with necessary supplies.
• Clean, sterilize, and set up exam rooms and equipment between patients.
• Document orders, referrals, lab tests, and follow‑up activities accurately.
• Administer medications as ordered and handle patient messages and tasks promptly.
• Retrieve prior x‑rays, office notes, and exam results as needed.
