Medical Assistant - MVMG Woodmen Adult

About the role

Colorado Physician Partners is looking for a Medical Assistant to join its team at the MVMG Woodmen Adult clinic in Colorado Springs. You will work alongside clinical services staff to deliver patient care and support, in a welcoming environment that builds patient comfort and trust.

Key responsibilities

• Review and update patient records before face-to-face or telehealth appointments, keeping test results and correspondence current.
• Clean and stock exam rooms between visits, following infection control standards.
• Prepare patients for their visit and notify the physician or mid-level provider when they are ready.
• Greet patients, take vital signs and document basic medical history accurately.
• Support physicians or mid-level providers during patient examinations.
• Restock supplies, check inventory and keep all areas clean and orderly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current, valid Medical Assistant certification.
• Current, valid CPR certification.
• Valid state driver's license preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish or another language is a plus.

Required skills

• Excellent communication: taking medical histories, understanding instructions and documenting accurately.
• Beginner to intermediate computer and phone skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to different duties and cross-train within other departments.
• Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of Universal Precautions and adherence to HIPAA standards.

• Hourly pay of $19.00-$21.00.
