About the role

The University of Miami UHealth Primary Care Enterprise is seeking a full‑time Medical Assistant 3 to join its Palmetto Bay clinic. The MA3 provides compassionate, patient‑centered care, creating a safe and supportive environment that promotes physical and spiritual healing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms with necessary supplies and equipment for providers.
• Assist providers during physical examinations and procedures.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members, addressing discomforts and providing emotional support.
• Document patient interactions accurately while complying with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
• Participate in unit meetings, contribute to team morale, and engage in continuous learning.
• Utilize available technology for documentation and information retrieval.
