About the role
The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Oncology Clinic is seeking a full‑time Medical Assistant 3 to join its Kendall location. Working under the direct supervision of a licensed physician, you will provide hands‑on patient care while supporting clinical procedures and healthcare management.
Key responsibilities
- Assist medical providers with multi‑skilled tasks and clinical procedures.
- Deliver patient care in a culturally competent, evidence‑based manner.
- Follow regulatory requirements, institutional policies, and safety standards.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team.
- Participate in unit/clinic programs, meetings, and preceptor activities.
Required profile
- Current staff, faculty, or temporary employee of the University of Miami may apply through internal Workday process.
- Demonstrates professionalism, ethical practice, and the ability to respond to emergencies.
