Medical Assistant 3 – Clinical Support

About the role

The University of Miami’s UHealth system is seeking a Medical Assistant 3 to join the Deerfield Beach clinic. In this hands‑on position you will support medical providers and deliver direct patient care while upholding the institution’s standards of quality, safety and compassion.

Key responsibilities

• Perform multi‑skilled clinical tasks and assist providers with patient‑care procedures.
• Manage patients’ healthcare needs in a culturally competent manner.
• Adhere to state, federal and institutional regulatory requirements and policies.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure a safe delivery of care.
• Collaborate with the Nurse Manager, charge nurse and other team members to maintain a healing environment.
• Monitor quality of care and contribute to unit/clinic programs and meetings.
