Media & Brand Consultant

About the role

Corteva is seeking a Media & Brand Consultant to protect and shape the company’s reputation while managing brand assets across multiple channels. The role blends media relations, brand stewardship, and strategic communication in a fast‑moving, science‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key reporters and business journalists.
• Develop and place compelling media stories that align with business and policy objectives.
• Translate scientific information into clear, accurate, and engaging content.
• Monitor media coverage, respond to issues and crises, and ensure balanced reporting.
• Provide media‑relations counsel to leaders, train executives for interviews, and lead ad‑hoc media projects.
• Support social‑media strategy and create content for digital platforms.
• Manage brand guidelines across presentations, social media, web, and other assets.
• Advise stakeholders on proper brand implementation and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
• Lead brand‑related projects, campaigns, and training initiatives.
• Oversee the Brand Center, conduct usage audits, and ensure ADA compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of communications experience in a corporate setting.
• Proven track record in media relations and brand management.
• Experience working with business reporters and on‑record spokesperson duties.
• Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple platforms.
