Mechanical Installer – Conveyor Systems

About the role

Join the Installation team to support large‑scale material handling and conveyor system projects across the United States. This 100% travel position involves layout, pre‑assembly, installation, and run‑in of conveyor equipment in physically demanding construction environments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate layout and pre‑assembly of conveyor systems, ensuring flawless component integration.
• Install overhead steel beams, elevated walkways, structural steel, guard rails, racks and air piping (aluminum, copper, black iron).
• Interpret and work from detailed mechanical drawings, layout diagrams and assembly instructions.
• Follow strict safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and company quality standards.
• Maintain organized, safe tools, equipment and work areas while traveling extensively across U.S. job sites.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or specialized training preferred.
• 1–5 years hands‑on experience installing or maintaining conveyor equipment.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and personal hand tools.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lb and perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, squatting and crawling.

Required skills

• Interpretation of engineered mechanical drawings.
• Conveyor system installation and alignment.
• Structural steel and overhead beam installation.
• Air piping installation (aluminum, copper, black iron).
• OSHA 10 safety certification (or ability to obtain).
