Mechanical Equipment Technician

About the role

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Mechanical Equipment Technician for its plant in Streetman, Texas. The role involves maintaining and repairing a wide range of production equipment, ensuring reliable operation of our aggregates facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and pneumatic/hydraulic/electrical diagrams.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot breakdowns on production equipment, including 3‑phase motors up to 600 V.
• Conduct high‑voltage electrical repairs, install and repair wiring, transformers, relays and control panels.
• Repair, lubricate and replace shafts, bearings, gears, and other mechanical components.
• Install, maintain and repair pipe, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Operate cutting torches, welding equipment and machine tools to fabricate or repair parts.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow all safety procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Good attendance record.
• Willingness to work at heights of 25 ft or more.
