Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, test, and improve mechanical systems and products for a range of industries, including manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, and medical devices. The role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver cost‑effective, high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems based on project requirements.
• Create and maintain 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using industry‑standard software.
• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and tolerance analyses.
• Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, quality, and project teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design or manufacturing issues.
• Support prototype development, product testing, validation, and design verification.
• Prepare engineering documentation, technical reports, BOMs, and design specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or manufacturing engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification is a plus.

Required skills

• SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, CATIA, Inventor, or Siemens NX (CAD software).
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and mechanical design principles.
• Stress analysis, thermal analysis, and general mechanical analysis.
• ANSYS or Abaqus (FEA tools).
• Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
• CNC machining, injection molding, sheet‑metal fabrication, casting, and additive manufacturing processes.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
