Mechanical Engineer – Hybrid (3 onsite, 2 remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our product development team. The role combines on‑site collaboration with remote work, offering a hybrid schedule of three days onsite and two days remote. You will support the full product lifecycle for medical‑device products in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support DSx product development activities throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead and participate in DFMEA reviews and risk‑management activities.
• Develop, execute, and document verification and validation testing.
• Create and maintain technical documentation in line with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing teams.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and drive root‑cause investigations.
• Support design reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical engineering experience in a product development environment.
• Experience with the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLM) and DFMEA.
• Background in design verification and validation activities.
• Strong technical documentation and engineering change management experience.
• Preferably experience in the medical‑device industry and FDA‑regulated environments.

Required skills

• Creo for mechanical design and documentation.
• SAP, especially for engineering documentation and document management.
• Windchill (preferred).
• Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
