Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and on‑site commissioning of automation equipment. The role is based in Houston with occasional travel, including an initial training period in South Korea.

Key responsibilities

• Create 3D models and detailed drawings for new equipment using SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Implement design changes and optimizations to improve existing products.
• Collaborate with electrical, electronic, and software engineers to ensure system integration.
• Review design drawings, analyse simulation results, and manage design revisions.
• Provide manufacturing support, including technical documentation and resolution of production issues.
• Lead mechanical installation, alignment, and commissioning at customer sites, performing root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain design‑related technical documents.

Required profile

• Associate degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing automation equipment; 10+ years preferred.
• U.S. permanent residency or citizenship (no visa sponsorship).
• Professional proficiency in English and ability to relocate to Houston.
• Availability to start by September 1, 2026 and attend a one‑month training in South Korea.
