Mechanic – Technical Support for Energy Operations

About the role

Delek US Holdings is seeking a motivated Mechanic to provide technical support across its downstream energy facilities. You will work directly with engineers and scientists, helping to develop procedures, document findings, and investigate root causes of operational events.

Key responsibilities

• Assist engineers and scientists on a variety of technical tasks.
• Develop, recommend, and document maintenance procedures and methods.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Conduct technical evaluations of incidents, determine root causes, and suggest corrective actions.
• Perform regular site walks while adhering to safety protocols and wearing required PPE.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• One or more years of related mechanical or maintenance experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift equipment, don emergency breathing apparatus, and work safely around chemical vapors.

Required skills

• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices.
• Understanding of electricity and electrical currents.
• Vendor management capabilities.
• Familiarity with safety standards, procedures, and process safety.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
