MCIS Trainer (Security Clearance Required)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MCIS Trainer to deliver both formal and informal training on Military Communications and Information Systems (MCIS) for Army and other federal agencies at our Fort Dodge, IA location. The role involves planning, coordinating and executing training events from squad to corps level, ensuring warfighters are fully prepared.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct formal information‑system operator training and over‑the‑shoulder MCIS instruction during collective training events.
• Plan, coordinate and execute individual MCIS and simulation training across squad to corps echelons.
• Set up classrooms, network systems and supporting simulations, and deliver instruction following Army POI standards.
• Maintain training records and adhere to approved course instructional times.

Required profile

• Active Secret security clearance.
• High school diploma; Associates degree is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of MCIS teaching experience and prior assistant‑instructor role.
• At least 4 years of service supporting the Army or another defense service.
• Current certification with Army training doctrine.
