Maven Smart System (MSS) Platform Support Engineer

About the role

CACI's Agile Solution Factory (ASF) is hiring an experienced Maven Smart System (MSS) support engineer to support the National Guard Bureau (NGB) Joint Staff J2 organization. The role provides expert support on the MSS platform, configuring and maintaining the MSS operating environment, managing users, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and workflows, implementing automation, and troubleshooting issues and performance problems. The position is full time, requires a minimum Secret clearance to start and up to 10% local travel.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and manage system environments so that data, tools and end-user applications are hosted securely and reliably.
• Implement CI/CD processes for workflow pipelines, automating data and product deployment and maintenance.
• Integrate data products into existing NGB operational workflows.
• Ensure adherence to data standards, security requirements and compliance policies, and keep data and workflow documentation current.
• Monitor Maven network performance and security protocols to keep access uninterrupted across distributed and partner environments.
• Troubleshoot operational issues affecting data feeds, tools and applications, and identify workflow improvements from user feedback.
• Manage user permissions, access controls and role-based data entitlements, and deliver user training in line with Maven Smart Systems guides and J2/State-J2 training plans.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with an active Secret DoD security clearance, able to attain Top Secret.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Assurance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of related experience with an AI-powered data integration and decision support system.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced DoD environment, and quick learner.

Required skills

• Experience administering or supporting enterprise data platforms such as Palantir's Maven Smart System, Gotham or Foundry, or similar analytical environments.
• Configuring and managing secure system and data environments for mission use.
• CI/CD pipeline operations, workflow automation and deployment maintenance.
• Troubleshooting data workflows, ingestion issues, performance degradation and application errors.
• Data governance, security protocols and compliance standards in DoD environments.
• Hands-on user training and clear communication of technical concepts to operators and leadership.

Desired: Active Top Secret clearance, and experience supporting technical requirements in the NGB, ARNG, ANG or NGB Joint Staff, or on the DoD/DoW Advana or Army Vantage data platforms.
