About the role

Columbus Technical College seeks a full‑time Mathematics Instructor to deliver high‑quality instruction across multiple semesters. The role involves preparing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and supporting learners in a campus environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics courses during fall, spring, and summer terms, including high‑school level classes when needed.
• Develop and maintain consistent syllabi, lesson plans, assessments, and lab activities.
• Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, and document outcomes.
• Adhere to college and safety policies in classrooms and labs.
• Participate in marketing, retention, and recruitment initiatives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of mathematical trends through professional development.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Effective time‑management and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to work day, evening, occasional weekend, and travel within the service area.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
