About the role

The Manteca Unified School District is seeking a qualified Mathematics teacher for Lathrop High School. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality math instruction to secondary students and contribute to a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach mathematics courses to high school students at Lathrop High School.
• Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with state standards.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities.

Required profile

• Valid Single Subject Mathematics Credential (or equivalent).
• EL Authorization or proof of eligibility.
• Two recent letters of recommendation from current or former principals, department chairs, or supervisors.
• Letter of interest and current resume.
• Pre‑employment TB clearance and fingerprinting (employee cost if hired).

Required skills

• Mathematics instruction for secondary education.
