Material Handler – 2nd Shift (2PM‑10PM)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Material Handler to join our team on the 2nd shift (2 PM‑10 PM, Monday‑Friday) at our Mitchell, SD facility. You will support the flow of parts and components across the plant, ensuring that inbound shipments are received accurately and outbound orders are prepared for Midwest distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Receive materials, verify packing slips and maintain accurate records.
• Unload trucks, sort parts, and place materials on the welding line.
• Prepare and load weekly Midwest shipments, confirming customer shipping and delivery reports.
• Use SAP to locate, retrieve, and track inventory.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and notify Purchasing when replenishment is needed.
• Assist fellow Material Handlers and report any issues to the Supervisor promptly.
• Follow all environmental, safety and company policies and maintain reliable attendance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; receiving experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Forklift certification and confidence operating material‑handling equipment.
• Ability to read, write and speak English to follow work orders and communicate via radio.
