Master Scheduler 2 – Remote (Full-Time)

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Connect is seeking a full‑time Master Scheduler 2 to work remotely. In this role you will create and maintain provider schedule templates for clinics and ancillary services, aiming to maximize access, balance patient volumes, and reduce wait times.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage provider schedule templates across all specialties.
• Set up, update, and remove scheduling application templates as needed.
• Monitor physician clinic cancellations and coordinate timely rescheduling.
• Handle daily schedule changes to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Perform quality checks on facility schedules and report under‑ or over‑booking.
• Develop and monitor patient‑volume reports to support departmental decision‑making.
• Manage requests from phone lines, email boxes, and software applications, ensuring timely response.
• Communicate issues to management and participate in corrective actions.
• Provide guidance to lower‑level schedulers as directed.
• Adhere to university policies and safeguard assets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience, including at least one year of template‑builder experience.
• General knowledge of office procedures and operations.
• Strong data‑entry accuracy.
• Ability to prepare and maintain records, reports, and correspondence.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
• Relevant education, certifications, or additional experience may be considered.
