Master Data Implementation Specialist – Production Planning

About the role

BETA Technologies is seeking a Master Data Implementation Specialist to support the transition of radical electric aircraft designs into production, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate review of new engineering designs for aircraft systems and analyze GD&T tolerances for manufacturability.
• Analyze engineering drawings and releases, addressing errors during the PLM release cycle.
• Coordinate product lifecycle management from ideation to change implementation within ERP systems.
• Define scope and create documentation for change management and implementation.
• Use and maintain the ERP system to improve production processes and enhance capability.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Understanding of PLM and ERP systems and operational knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability principles and engineering change review.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, BOMs, and assessing 3D scan/CMM data.

Required skills

• PLM systems: Smarteam, 3DX, Siemens.
• ERP systems: SAP, Oracle, Epicor.
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5.
• Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis.
• Engineering drawing interpretation, BOM reference extraction.
• Manufacturing capacity planning and machine shop operations.
• 3D scan and CMM measurement data analysis.
