Marketing Strategy & Process Improvement PMO Leader

About the role

As the Process Improvement and Project Management Office (PMO) Leader, you will drive medium‑ to large‑scale, cross‑functional projects that support 3M’s Marketing strategic vision. You will partner with Marketing teams, the Marketing Excellence Steering Committee, and business stakeholders to define scope, create robust project plans, and ensure effective communication across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple cross‑functional projects from initiation to successful completion, managing moderate risk and business impact.
• Collaborate with Marketing organizations and steering committees to refine project scope and develop comprehensive project plans.
• Generate and execute communication plans to secure organization‑wide support.
• Leverage global resources and multidisciplinary teams to meet project timelines.
• Use data analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and enable data‑driven decision‑making.
• Mentor and coach other PMOs, fostering a culture of continuous process improvement.
• Provide training on project leadership tools, methodologies, and Lean Six Sigma principles.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading medium to large scale, cross‑functional projects in a marketing or commercial environment.
• Strong ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across global locations.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated track record of implementing innovative solutions to complex business problems.
