Marketing Coordinator – Business Development

About the role

The Marketing Coordinator (Business Development) provides high‑volume, real‑time marketing support to MMR’s business development organization. Acting as the central liaison for more than 40 BD professionals, this role ensures marketing requests are executed quickly, consistently, and to a high standard. The position is based onsite at MMR’s headquarters in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary marketing liaison for 40+ business development team members.
• Respond to, triage, and deliver marketing requests without sacrificing quality.
• Provide day‑to‑day marketing support across a wide range of BD initiatives.
• Coordinate creation, updating, and version control of core assets such as fact sheets, case studies, project profiles, pitch decks, and client‑facing materials.
• Ensure all materials are brand‑aligned, accurate, audience‑specific, current, easily accessible, and properly versioned.
• Establish and reinforce best practices for asset usage across the BD team.
• Support trade shows, conferences, and events, guaranteeing consistent brand representation in all event‑related outputs.

Required profile

• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• High responsiveness and ability to manage multiple, fast‑moving requests.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience supporting business development or marketing functions, preferably in construction, engineering, or related industrial sectors.
