Marketing Analyst – Growth & Business Development

About the role

Join Applied Materials' Global Services (AGS) M&A/NBD team as a Marketing Analyst. You will collect market data, analyze trends and identify inorganic growth opportunities that align with AGS business goals, working across product management, business development, R&D, finance and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and execute inorganic growth opportunities such as acquisitions, investments, IP licensing and partnerships.
• Perform primary and secondary market research, segmentation, competitive and financial analysis.
• Build business cases with clear strategic rationale, data visualisation and financial modelling to assess revenue and profitability impact.
• Present investment proposals to senior leadership and manage multiple cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field; MBA highly preferred.
• 4‑7 years of experience in marketing, corporate strategy, management consulting or M&A advisory.
• Experience with inorganic growth activities (M&A, investment, IP acquisition) and semiconductor industry knowledge is a plus.
• Proven ability to collaborate across global, cross‑functional teams.
