Manufacturing Team Member - Trim

About the role

Clayton, a values‑driven home builder, is seeking a Manufacturing Team Member to join its Trim department. The role involves performing production operations that contribute to the construction of single‑family homes while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Follow safe work habits and OSHA regulations to ensure an efficient, safe production environment.
• Collaborate with teammates to produce trim components that meet quality and productivity targets.
• Protect company assets, report maintenance needs, and keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Assist the Team Leader and Area Coordinator by communicating material shortages, tool maintenance needs, and any quality or productivity issues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Even‑tempered, positive attitude with strong teamwork focus.
• No recent verbal disciplinary actions for attendance and no final written disciplinary actions in the past six months.
• Achieved “High Performing” rating on the most recent evaluation.
• Ability to learn from feedback, follow procedures, and maintain urgency while minimizing quality issues.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Ability to read confirmation orders and build accurately.
