Manufacturing Team Member – Final Finish – Appliances

About the role

Clayton is seeking a Manufacturing Team Member to join the Final Finish – Appliances area of its home‑building production line. The role involves performing assigned manufacturing operations safely and efficiently while supporting the company’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and a world‑class customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Follow standard production methods and OSHA safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with the team to produce appliance components that meet quality standards and productivity targets.
• Protect company assets by reporting maintenance needs, keeping work areas clean, and preventing damage or misuse.
• Assist the Team Leader and Area Coordinator by communicating material shortages, tool maintenance requirements, and any quality or productivity issues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall manufacturing flow.

Required profile

• Even‑tempered, positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills.
• No recent verbal disciplinary actions for attendance and no final written disciplinary actions in the past six months.
• Consistently high performance in recent evaluations.
• Ability to learn from feedback, follow procedures, and maintain urgency while minimizing quality issues.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; willingness to work in various departments as needed.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Ability to read confirmation orders and build accurately.
