Manufacturing Team Member – Exterior Tops – Soffit

About the role

Clayton, a values‑driven home builder, is seeking a Manufacturing Team Member to work on exterior tops and soffit components. You will join a collaborative production floor where safety, quality, and efficiency are top priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Follow safe work habits and OSHA regulations to keep the production area efficient and secure.
• Work with a team to fabricate exterior tops and soffit parts that meet Clayton’s quality standards.
• Protect company assets, report maintenance needs, and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Assist the Team Leader and Area Coordinator by communicating material shortages, tool maintenance needs, and any quality or productivity concerns.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall manufacturing goals.

Required profile

• Even‑tempered, positive attitude with strong teamwork focus.
• No recent verbal disciplinary actions for attendance and no final written disciplinary actions in the past six months.
• Consistently high performance in recent evaluations.
• Ability to learn from feedback, follow procedures, and build accurately from confirmation orders.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
