About the role
Rolls‑Royce is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Manager to partner with manufacturing and engineering teams in Indianapolis. You will ensure that products and processes consistently meet regulatory, customer, and business requirements while driving continuous improvement and supporting strategic goals.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of quality engineers and inspection leaders, fostering a strong quality culture.
- Ensure compliance with management systems, regulatory requirements, and customer standards through effective assurance and audit strategies.
- Govern and improve quality performance, drive KPIs, and implement corrective actions when targets are not met.
- Reduce Cost of Non‑Quality by preventing defects, conducting root‑cause analysis, and applying continuous‑improvement methodologies such as 8D problem solving.
- Own and report quality performance metrics, providing clear insight to stakeholders and leadership.
- Drive product quality planning and approval (e.g., APQP and PPAP), ensuring robust processes and controls are in place.
Required profile
- Proven experience in manufacturing quality management, preferably in aerospace or high‑tech environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence without authority.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
