Manufacturing Operator – Sunday to Wednesday (2pm‑12:30am)

About the role

This position supports a biopharmaceutical bulk‑product manufacturing facility, operating on a Sunday‑to‑Wednesday schedule (2:00 pm‑12:30 am). The operator works in one of three areas – Cell Culture, Purification, or BioServices – and follows the Manufacturing Standard for Operational Excellence (MSOE) 602 to ensure safety, quality, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and sterilize equipment according to written procedures.
• Monitor equipment parameters, adjust operational settings, and perform in‑process sampling and routine assays.
• Record data, log activities, and ensure compliance with cGMP standards.
• Perform general maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and review batch records for completeness.
• Author or revise SOPs and batch records; participate in non‑conformance investigations and change controls.
• Train and coach junior operators while maintaining a high level of safety awareness.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Strong manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Knowledge of aseptic processing techniques and ability to apply technical experience to problem‑solving.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb and perform bending, reaching, and stretching.
