Manufacturing Operator

About the role

Glidewell is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join its production team. The role involves preparing materials, operating a variety of equipment, and ensuring each product meets strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture work orders in areas such as BruxZir Colloidal, BruxZir NOW, BruxZir Press, BruxZir Shade Guide, Composites, Injection Molding, and Obsidian.
• Retrieve materials, pre‑batch components, verify lot numbers and quantities, and document on Bill of Material sheets.
• Weigh powders and liquids, follow formula instructions, and issue components to the work order.
• Operate equipment including table‑top presses, hydraulic presses, CNC machines, CMM and vision measurement systems, mills, injection molding machines, furnaces, ovens, mixers, and surface grinders.
• Use hand tools such as ultrasonic scanners, glue dispensers, micrometers, and scales.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections, verify shade, and label and package finished goods for inventory.
• Record production data on handheld devices, complete required paperwork, and maintain a clean 6S work area.
• Identify and separate non‑conforming products and participate in Kaizen and 6S activities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of manufacturing experience.

Required skills

• Operation of CNC machines and hydraulic/table‑top presses.
• Use of CMM, vision measurement systems, and surface grinders.
• Experience with injection molding machines, mills, furnaces, ovens, and mixers.
• Proficiency with hand tools: ultrasonic scanners, glue dispensers, micrometers, and precision scales.
• Ability to conduct visual and dimensional quality inspections.
