Manufacturing Operator (Chemicals)

About the role

Join Axalta Coating Systems as a Manufacturing Operator in Jacksonville, TX, where you will help produce high‑quality paint, coating, and chemical batches on a fast‑paced production line.

Key responsibilities

• Complete daily assigned batches on time according to schedule.
• Operate a forklift to pull and pick raw materials and intermediates for each batch.
• Run pump equipment to transfer raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods into mixing tanks or containers.
• Operate mixing equipment to combine raw materials.
• Use RF scan tools to locate, consume, and track materials from inventory.
• Clean and maintain production tools, equipment, and the assigned production zone.
• Complete work orders for repair or replacement of tools and equipment.
• Promote and follow Axalta workplace safety standards, ensuring PPE is used at all times.
• Identify, document, and report safety concerns through near‑miss reporting.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or an industrial environment.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift driving experience; experience in paint, coatings, or chemicals is a plus.
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holder able to pass background and drug checks.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret work orders.
