Manufacturing Engineering Manager

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager leads the engineering team at our Wheeling, IL plant, overseeing CNC programming, process development, maintenance, capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives. This role ensures manufacturing processes are cost‑effective, high‑quality, and aligned with the latest technological advances.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise CNC programming, machining process optimization, and equipment development.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean, Kaizen, 6S and other methodologies.
• Manage capital expenditure, evaluate new machines, and onboard capital equipment.
• Standardize programming best practices and implement advanced machining technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering, materials, operations and quality teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Establish work measurement standards and monitor safety and quality compliance.

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
