Manufacturing Engineer – Production Optimization

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining efficient manufacturing processes and systems within the production environment. The role focuses on optimizing productivity, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality to support the organization’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and delivery performance.
• Support daily production operations by resolving technical and process‑related issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles and problem‑solving methodologies.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for new product introduction and industrialization.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and SOPs.
• Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies, tools, and equipment.
• Support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions related to quality and production challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with lean manufacturing tools, Six Sigma, and other problem‑solving techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing‑related software systems.
• Knowledge of automation, digital manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Familiarity with ERP and MES platforms.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
