Machine Operator II

About the role

Join Alfa Laval’s manufacturing team as a Machine Operator II, responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of conventional and special‑purpose machines to fabricate structural parts with precision. You will work on-site in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, contributing directly to product quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Provide materials to workstations, read blueprints or job instructions, and set up machines for production.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain machines including loading, machining, unloading, de‑burring, and adjusting as needed.
• Measure and mark dimensions using precision tools, select and secure tools, fixtures, and accessories.
• Transport finished products, rig and move structures with overhead cranes and forklifts, and maintain a tidy work area.
• Assist team leaders, cross‑train in other areas, and perform other assigned tasks.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; 3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic math skills, ability to read tape measures, calipers, and blueprints.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb occasionally, stand or walk 80% of the shift, and wear required PPE.

Required skills

• Proficiency with radial drills, fin‑tube machinery, large vertical band saw, presses, brakes and shears.
• Experience operating industrial machines, forklift certification, and overhead crane operation.
• Use of precision measuring devices and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
