Manufacturing Engineer – Missile Defense Program

About the role

IERUS Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support a large Missile Defense Agency (MDA) program. The role focuses on implementing and optimizing manufacturing processes for aerospace and defense hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Implement manufacturing processes, procedures, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling.
• Utilize computer‑aided manufacturing (CAM) software to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance quality.
• Create and analyze 3D model data to optimize manufacturing workflows and digital work instructions.
• Define operation procedures and build sequences using material and automation knowledge to drive operational excellence.
• Investigate issues, initiate corrective actions, and ensure continuous improvement.
• Integrate reporting and data‑analytics solutions for ongoing process enhancement.
• Provide design input to align product concepts with manufacturing capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline (experience may substitute for degree).
• 5+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer in a production environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing principles, production line setup, launch, and development.
• Experience creating manufacturing work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Understanding of manufacturing bill of materials creation, editing, and maintenance.
• U.S. citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance.
