Manufacturing Engineer

About the role
The Manufacturing Engineer will focus on identifying and eliminating repetitive problems, improving efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within our production environment.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect and audit production activities and initiate internal continuous improvement quality projects.
- Determine corrective or preventative measures from audit findings and ensure implementation.
- Facilitate corrective actions with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Develop new quality system procedures, forms, and charts.
- Lead cross‑functional process improvement teams and transfer best practices.
- Compile, analyze, and report inspection data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Assist in upgrading manufacturing equipment, provide training on new processes, and support safety and environmental compliance programs.
Required profile
- B.S. in mechanical or industrial engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing or engineering with a focus on quality and corrective action planning.
- Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Knowledge of Lean methodology and continuous‑improvement tools.
- Ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and report quality data.
